Our Approach
Evolutionary because we believe that real transformation will not be achieved by linear, incremental changes. The traditional definition of evolution speaks to the adaptation in response to changes in the environment and the modern research into evolution concludes that it drives complexity, not in one direction but in many directions at once. Our work equips individuals and organisations to be aware and agile in response to their fast paced changing environment. Our approach develops ways of working and organising that are capable of responding to the unpredictability and complexities of the modern working world.
Ultimately this work is about learning and creating spaces where we can all develop and grow. We do not approach our work as experts but as people who have experiences and knowledge to share. We fully utilise the power of peer learning. The development of each individual and organisation is limited or enhanced by its environment. Only by connecting, sharing and spreading our knowledge and developing new ideas and practices can we enhance our environment and grow ourselves. Consequently, as part of our approach we always seek to create spaces and to connect people and organisations with others so you can do this.
We adapt our approach to respect the heritage and build on the strengths of the organisations we work with. This is not a “cookie cutter” endeavour and each organisation and each team or department within each organisation will adapt these ways of working to fit their own needs and contexts within the boundaries prescribed.
We do not define health and care as services provided by experts who know best how to fix problems. Healthy individuals, whether care givers or receivers, are people who live meaningful lives, in connection with others in their community and in a sustainable way in harmony with their environment.
It can seem counterintuitive but leadership in self-managed systems is key. We are accredited and experienced in using a variety tools and approaches to put together bespoke packages that can flex and respond as the individual and organisation grows and changes.
